Our brief for this extension to an existing property in Newstead was to reconfigure an existing living area, add 2 additional bedrooms a bathroom and a second small living area for a busy family. The existing brick veneer residence was positioned on an internal block & had a drainage easement on the eastern side which meant that the most practical place for the extension was on the western side of the property. Of highest priority for the clients was the provision of sunlight all day. This was achieved by lifting the skillion roof on the eastern side and positioning clerestory windows which flooded the linking hallway and new sitting room with light.

Again the builders were vital to the success of this project as they understood the importance of attention to detail and worked well with us & the client to achieve the high end result.
